Winner – Nokia Lumia 710

Processor

Nokia Lumia 710 – 1.4 GHz Scorpion

Nokia 801T – 680MHz Arm 11 processor

There is a lot of difference between the clock-speed of these two phones. The clock speed of Nokia Lumia 710 is almost two times to that of Nokia 801T. Nokia 801T’s processor is very much similar to that of Samsung Galaxy Y. Although, we can overclock a gadget yet we should not always depend upon tricks.

Winner – Nokia Lumia 710

Both the phones have got same display screen, TFT capacitive touchscreen. Capacitive touchscreen are really good and are somewhat better than resistive ones so no need to worry regarding the touchscreen type. The Nokia Lumia is having Corning Gorilla Glass for the protection of its display but on the other hand the protection of Nokia 801T is yet not disclosed. Unfortunately, we have to give the benefit of doubt to the Nokia Lumia 710 and let me make it clear that both the phones support multi-touch.

Winner – Nokia Lumia 710

Camera

Nokia Lumia 710 – 5MP primary camera with LED flash etc.

Nokia 801T – 8 MP, fixed focus, dual-LED flash etc

Nokia 801T definitely is a camera centric phone. Nokia 801T is having superb camera quality. It has got 8MP camera with features like dual LED flash and fixed focus, on the other hand Nokia Lumia is having a 5MP primary camera with LED flash. There is no secondary camera in Nokia Lumia 710 but there is a VGA secondary camera in Nokia 801T. Operating System

Nokia Lumia 710 –Windows v7.5 Mango

Nokia 801T – Symbian Anna OS

Nokia Lumia 710 is a windows based phones while the Nokia 801T is a Symbian based phones. Both the phones are based on amazing operating systems but I personally think that out of these two operating systems Windows v7.5 is better than Symbian Anna OS. Well, I think that it is another attempt from Nokia to revive the Symbian fever! I think Windows is better than Symbian because Symbian lacks management, and is not being used in phones nowadays. Even Samsung has stopped using it, after being hit for Android.

Winner – Nokia Lumia 710

Data Connectivity

Both the phones have most the data connectivity features same. Both the phones support GPRS, EDGE, WLAN, Bluetooth v3.0 on Nokia 801T and v2.1 on Lumia 710, micro USB v2.0. The only difference between the two phones is that Nokia 801T supports NFC while Nokia Lumia 710 doesn’t support NFC. NFC is an amazing data connectivity features in which we have to just tap the phone with the other NFC enabled device, and just after the tap both the devices get connected and both can share the data.

Winner – Nokia 801T

The difference between the RAM’s is almost double but if you people are looking for storage then I suggest you the Nokia 801T and if you are looking for speed, then I prefer you the Nokia Lumia 710.

Winner – Depends

Nokia Lumia 710 – Standard battery, Li-Ion 1300 mAh

Nokia 810T – Standard battery, Li-Ion 1300 mAh

The battery power of both the phones is exactly same. But there is a difference when it comes at being practical. Nokia 810T can spend up to 65hrs without charging on music play while Nokia Lumia 710 can spend up to 38hrs on the same mode without charging, which is fairly slow. In other modes like talktime and standby there is a hardly a difference of twenty minutes between the battery of these two phones.

Winner – Nokia 810T

Nokia Lumia 710 – Rs.19,999

Nokia 801T – Veiled

Nokia Lumia 710 is available at the price of Rs.19,999 on Flipkart but on the other hand Nokia 801T is yet not revealed. Nokia 801T is having not so much powerful features except the camera quality. According to me, Nokia 801T will be priced somewhere Rs.15,000.

Winner – Depends

Final Verdict

Nokia Lumia 710 will obviously will be a better choice for an average teenager like me but if you are looking for better data connectivity features and good camera quality then believe me no phone can give you features which Nokia 801T has got at such low price (expected price).
