The phone’s dual SIM feature adds a cherry to the cake. However, the disadvantage of Dual SIM and Android is heavier than its advantage i.e. Battery Backup.
However, I had already wrote about the rooting and un-rooting procedure of Samsung Galaxy Y. Now I am going to explain the rooting procedure for Samsung Galaxy Y Duos. In simple words, rooting brings “Administrator like access to your Android Device”. If you also want to install custom ROMs in your device, rooting is must. Here goes the tutorial:

- Make sure your phone is charged more than 75%
- Do not interrupt while the rooting process is in progress
- Do not disconnect your device
- Update your Windows .NET Framework to latest version.

Step I: Make sure you completed all the above requirements. Open the settings option of your phone -> Applications -> Development -> Enable USB Debugging.
Step II: Connect your phone with PC/Laptop only via USB. Wait for few seconds until the drivers installation gets finished.
Note: Do NOT mount your SD card while connecting.
Step III: Run the Super Click Root tool which you extracted from the Zip File you downloaded. Click on the “Root” button and wait until the process gets finished.
Reboot your device and enjoy the world of rooted Android Planet.
