Get Your Blog Indexed By Search Engines Today

Everybody wants his/her blog to be indexed by Google from the very first day of blogging. If your blog is not indexed by Google, no need to worry, I am providing you with some tips to get your blog indexed today only.

Generate & Submit XML Sitemap to Search Engines

XML sitemap includes all the links to your blog in tree view manner. It is a file that you can submit to search engines to get your pages indexed. By submitting your sitemap, Search engines will get notified about your blog and they will start indexing your blog immediately. You can submit your sitemap to Google by using Google Webmaster Tools and for Yahoo submission use Yahoo Site Explorer.

For Generating Sitemap use this plugin : XML Sitemap Generator (For WordPress).

Create Backlinks

This task is the most important for good ranking in search engines and getting indexed soon. For making backlinks: Do comments on other blogs, use forums, use your website signature and create more backlinks.

Directory Submission

Submit Your blog URL to a list of SEO-Friendly directories. DMOZ, Yahoo Directory and All the web Directory. However, not all directory submissions are free, investing some bucks doesn’t make much effect.

Article Submission

Write quality content and place your Blog URL in the Author Resource Box. Submit your Articles to some popular article directories like Ezinearticles.com , this will add more and more backlinks and hence more visitors :)

Use Biggest Networking : Social Networking

Social networking websites help your blog to regularly index by search engines. Give a try to social networking websites like Facebook, Orkut, My space etc. Technical Networks: Stumbleupon, Digg, Technorati, etc.
