Hello Ladies, Google has brought something for you, yes this time for females, Google has got into high fashion with Boutiques.com. The search engine giant Google has launched a website called boutiques.com that helps you find clothes to suit your personal tastes.
This new website is a combination of computer vision and machine learning technology, to visualize, analyze your taste and match it to the fashion you would like.
Official statement from Google’s desk:
Today, we’re excited to share with you our first step towards realizing this goal. It’s called Boutiques.com: a personalized shopping experience that lets you find and discover fashion goods, by creating your own curated boutique or through a collection of boutiques curated by taste-makers—celebrities, stylists, designers and fashion bloggers.
This new website will change the way your old way of buying the clothes, because on this website you can try the clothes virtually. The site lets you filter the clothes on the basis of brands, fabric patterns, colors and silhouettes. You can also peruse clothing contained in the hand crafted collection called as boutiques (of renowned fashionistas). Google call them “taste-makers”.
Boutique creates its own personal boutique for you. If you ever want to buy something online, clicking on a piece of clothing will send you to third-party sites, where you can grab your favorite clothes.
For experience and start purchasing garments, you need to create an account at boutiques.com and store your clothing preferences. After signing up, you can create your own personal collection by rating them and peruse clothes by type such as pants, tops, skirts etc.
As you start loving and hating things, boutiques compile a profile about the types of clothes you prefer. It will make boutiques to be more intelligent and specific.
It is really a very great idea initiated by Google. It seems to be an interesting site, and sure to be popular for those whose rate other people’s clothes.
Unfortunately, boutiques is available only in the US and only for women’s fashion at the moment, but Google says it plans to expand the site in future.
So Ladies, what are you waiting for? Go to Boutiques.com and Do share your views with us.
