Motorola Xoom : First Android 3.0 OS Tablet [Price, Review & Spec]

I think the generation of mobile is going to become extinct soon. As the tablets are overcoming the power of mobile phones, I am sure the next generation will be the generation of tablets.

On the other hand Android OS has attracted many companies, and most of the gadgets are running on Android. Soon Android gadgets will be the first choice of every person. Now I am talking about a fully loaded tablet from Motorola i.e. Motorola Xoom

About Sonam Aggarwal

  1. First honeycomb experience would be with it. Thanks for sharing.

  2. Great post Sonam. I’ll be the first to admit that the Xoom seems pretty impressive thus far. However, it’s always been my policy to avoid buying new electronics products as soon as they first come out in stores as they typically have issues when first introduced (as in the case with the iPad with the wifi slow synching, signal problem, etc). That why I’ll probably wait 1-2 months before buying the Xoom because I know that it’s inevitably going to have some problems and it will probably to take Motorola some time to work out the kinks. Sorry for the rant. Cheers!

  3. I sincerely hope that they have the price under $500 or maybe verizon brings down the price to 200 with a 2 yr data agreement – this should give the tablet a fighting chance against the marketing machine that is the Ipad2 :)

I beleive this is going to be one of the best tablets around for the next 2 months. The fact that they allow flash to run + they have tabbed browing should make it a killer especially if the Ipad 2 doesnt allow flash off the bat. Flash is the one thing that can offset not having a super App store since you can play all those flash games without needing an App store.

  4. Its available in India on 20north.

  5. When I first got the Xoom about a week ago I turned it on and I really wasn’t blown away. I use lots of devices, and my first impression of the Xoom just wasn’t stellar. However, I could see the potential, and so I kept using it, I got some apps, I started to learn the interface and the depth of the features.
