The Nokia N9 and Samsung Galaxy S2 are two unique devices. They both have their own great features. It helps to review these two options when determining which one you might want to use.
The designs of these two devices are very different from one another. The Samsung Galaxy S2 uses a 4.3-inch screen that uses a bright series of LED lights for easy use. The Galaxy S2 is also 8.49mm in depth, thus making it easy to hold.
The Nokia N9 uses a 3.9-inch screen. Also, the buttons around the N9 are arranged in easier to find spots on its ends unlike the Galaxy S2 with its front panel buttons.
Another point to find is the way how these two devices can handle online connections. The N9 uses support for HTML5 connections. It also works with a series of different social media applications through the Events menu on the device. The Accounts system also uses assistance with getting a person to be logged into proper accounts when online. The N9 can also handle 3G connections on select models, thus giving it access to the best possible mobile speeds.
The Galaxy S2 uses Wi-Fi support to help with getting the device to connect with other wireless devices. This makes it easier for the Galaxy S2 to do things online. The AllShare feature is great in that it uses wireless support for playing things on the Galaxy S2 on a television set, audio system or computer monitor.
Both devices have 8 megapixel camera features. They can also record high-definition video files. The big difference between the two involves how they can share their materials. The N9 can take photos and videos and get them shared immediately on YouTube and Flickr among other sites. The interface on the Galaxy S2 does work with more control over the recording process though.
The processors on these phones are also different. The Nokia N9 uses a 1 GHz Cortex A8 processor. The Samsung Galaxy S2 uses a dual core XMM6260 processor at 1.2 GHz. Both devices will still use 1 GB of RAM.
The batteries are also different on these phones. The Nokia N9 has a 1450 mAh Li-ion battery that offers 380 hours of power on standby and at least seven hours of talk time on a 3G network or eleven hours on a standard network. The Samsung Galaxy S2 has a 1650 mAh battery with 700 hours of power on standby and a talk time of nine hours or greater depending on the strength of the network being used.
These are great differences to consider in the Nokia N9 and Samsung Galaxy S2. The N9 can handle photos and videos easily while the Galaxy S2 can last a little longer and uses more power. The differences between these two should be reviewed if you want to find something that works for your needs.
