[Facebook Phone] HTC ChaCha Vs Samsung Wave 533 [Bada Phone]

Introduction

HTC recently launched its QWERTY phone with a touch screen, this type of phones are also called touch and type phones. HTC has named this phone HTC ChaCha, the name is quite weird but sounds nice and soothing.  Now do you remember a similar phone which Samsung launched, way back in October 2010? It was Samsung Wave 533. Samsung Wave 533 is also a touch and type phone which is having almost equivalent features to that of HTC ChaCha. Let us see what both of these phones can do in real life, let us bring them to the head on.

HTC ChaCha Vs Samsung Wave 533

Operating System

OS is something which when discussed is interminable so let’s make it short and regard it as a blood of your phone. If your phone’s blood will not be presented in huge amount in your vicinity then it’s obvious that you will have lower chances of getting blood and eventually lower chances of surviving this ever-growing world. Similar is the OS of a mobile. If your OS won’t support too much apps then you will miss some great things and that’s what makes an OS important. OS of Samsung Wave 533 is Bada while the OS of HTC ChaCha is Android v2.3 (GingerBread). Android is far more popular than Bada and hence support more apps than Bada.

Winner – HTC ChaCha

Processor and Performance

If OS is the blood of any phone then processor is the hemoglobin!  Without a good processor your phone won’t work faster, which will annoy you and eventually this all will lead to failure of the phone and I don’t think any company wants that. Processors, nowadays, are so powerful that some of them even have the clock speed of 1.5 GHz which is only 1 GHz less than that of the latest computers. So processors are the soul and all the same are very important. Processor of Samsung Wave 533 is a 600 MHz processor which is not yet revealed! While the processor of HTC ChaCha is a 800 MHz processor. 200 MHz means a lot and should not be overlooked.

Winner – HTC ChaCha

Camera and Photography

Do you want a phone in which you won’t be able to click pictures, shoot videos and other things like that? No. Then you better search for a phone which has a powerful camera to do all what you want. But we are here so you don’t need to brag here and there as we are already having two amazing phones with powerful camera – HTC ChaCha and Samsung Wave 533 are their names. HTC ChaCha is having a powerful camera of 5 MP pixel counts which can allow you to click pictures of sizes 2592 x 1944 and all the same they also provide you feature like autofocus and LED flash. On the other hand Samsung Wave 533 is having a 3.15 MP camera which can allow you to click pictures of size 2048 x 1536 pixels. Samsung Wave 533 also lacks autofocus and flash.

Winner – HTC ChaCha

Storage and Capacity

Storage capacity of a phone decides many things. It decides things like, amount of size of music you will store, photos you can keep and other things like this. Larger storage capacity of a phone also increases the speed of the phone, that’s what research says. Storage capacity of HTC ChaCha is 512MB internal which is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card. Storage capacity of Samsung Wave 533 is 100 MB internal which is expandable up to only 16GB. That’s a huge difference.

Winner – HTC ChaCha

Price On Pocket

Finally all the features stops at only one place – price. If you are having money then you can even purchase iPhone 5 but if not then you won’t be able to buy biscuits to feed yourself! So money matters and, of course, should be spent wisely. Price of HTC ChaCha is not revealed yet because it is recently announced but the expected price is Rs. 16,000 or $356. On the other hand price of Samsung Wave 533 is Rs. 7390 or $165. Price of HTC ChaCha is almost double to that of Samsung Wave 533 but I think that’s fair.

Winner – HTC ChaCha

Dreambloggers Verdict

Both the phones were totally different for each other and HTC ChaCha is better than Samsung Wave 533 in every aspect! But still if you don’t want much features but all the same want a touch and type phone then you should probably buy Samsung Wave 533, but I personally don’t suggest this because if you are spending money, why not spend a few more and buy something totally upgraded.
