The Only Available 3D Smartphones [Specs & Features]

Sharp is the first company which entered into market with 3D mobile phones. But they failed to stay top in the market because it is not released globally. Later LG and HTC entered into the 3D market this year and rising among themselves. It seems that it may take a lot of time for other giant mobile companies to manufacture 3D smartphones because they have not yet announced their plans to manufacture a 3D mobile phone. Let us see the features and specification of the 3D  smartphones available globally.



HTC Evo 3D

An Android Gingerbread smart phone which is available in US market at present with Sprint carrier for a starting price of $199. This mobile is featured to take images and videos in 3D mode and to view the picture there is no necessary to wear 3D glasses. There are GSM and CDMA mobiles available for this phone. The phone has a 3D LCD capacitive touchscreen with 4.3 inches display powered with 1.2 GHz dual-core , Adreno 220 GPU, Qualcomm processor having 1GB internal RAM memory.

LG Optimus 3D is available in Korea now and it is going to be bought to US market named as LG Thrill 4G by AT&T company. An Android Froyo mobile can be upgraded to Gingerbread. This is best phone for 3D experience where the images and videos taken by this mobile phone can be viewed in 3D mode without wearing 3D glasses. The phone with Dual-core 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor having 512MB RAM and 8GB of internal memory.

This is an Android Gingerbread smart phone with 3D technology. This phone doesn’t give good 3D view compared to the above two smartphones and the 3D can be experienced without wearing the glasses. The mobile phone has a 4.2 inch screen with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels powered by 1.4 GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 processor with HSPA data connectivity of 14.4 Mbps speed having camera with 8MP.

Conclusion: Buy these 3D mobile phones at your own risk because 3D technology can cause strain to your eyes. This 3D technology for mobile phones is still at beginning stage and it needs to make a lot of improvement.
