Detailed Comparison Between LG Optimus 2X Vs Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo

LG vs. Samsung, this term is getting common nowadays. All the credit goes to the laborious work done by both of these companies. LG is a Korean company and so is Samsung. Both of these companies are working real hard to get the first place in the world, at least in Asian market.

LG is known for its quality and design while Samsung is known for everything like design, reliability, features, customer support and all. Samsung had launched a new phone named as Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo, other names are Sony Ericsson Xperia Kyno and Sony Ericsson XPERIA Halon (Hallon) while LG launched LG Optimus 2X also known as LG P990 Star and LG P990 Optimus Speed. Both of these phones are just amazing, sizzling, and magnanimous and all what I can say.

The comparison between them was a expected one so here it goes.

Operating System

Operating System of any phone is very important and it helps a phone to win the Stetson. So we can say that OS acts as a lasso as without this a phone won’t be able to control other phones. OS of phones which are being produced between the fiscal are Android v2.3. LG Optimus 2X is powered with Android OS, v2.2 but to cope up they made it upgradable up to Android v2.3.

On the other hand Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo is powered with a OS of the year, according to me, Android v2.3. Android v2.3 is very common so you won’t find it difficult to search the apps you need.

Processor and Performance

Processor is something which enhances the speed of your phone and hence let you work fast and eventually get time for life.  So we can say that a processor helps you in not being a splenetic. Processor of LG Optimus 2X is dual-core 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor with Tegra 2 AP20H chipset while processor of Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo is a  1GHz Scorpion processor with Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon chipset. Both the phones are quite fast but the fastest wins the marathon.

Camera and Videography

Everyone is enthusiastic about the pictures and what if your phone allows you to click some magnanimous shots? It will not only feel great but will also give you an inside happiness and I don’t think anyone would like to miss out that happiness. So it’s always advised to choose a phone which has got a dashing quality camera and all the same allows you to shoot the videos.

Both LG Optimus 2X and Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo provides you up with this feature. LG Optimus 2X is studded with a 8 MP high resolution camera and that too with features like autofocus, and LED flash on the other hand Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo is embedded with a same pixel count camera i.e. 8 MP camera and that too with features like autofocus, and LED flash. You can also shoot videos of full HD quality from LG Optimus 2X but on the other hand you will be able to shoot only HD videos from Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo.

Storage and Capacity

Everyone needs space for everything, whether its living, bathing, flushing and even dying needs space as our grave needs to be dug somewhere! Same is the case with mobiles. Everyone needs a little more space for his memories stored in form of images, videos etc and believe me you would never want to run out for that space. Storage capacity thus matters.

Storage capacity of LG Optimus 2X is 8 GB internal memory which is upgradable up to 32GB only via microSD card. RAM of LG Optimus 2X 512 MB RAM. On the other hand Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo is embedded with a 320MB internal memory chip which is upgradable up to 32GB. RAM of Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo is 512 MB.

Dreambloggers Verdict

It seems as if LG is working somewhat harder than Samsung on the features of its smartphones. LG has created this masterpiece to click out Samsung’s so called daddy out of the game. LG Optimus 2X is better than Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo but the difference isn’t too much. If you want a phone which is better than Sony Ericsson Xperia then its LG Optimus 2X.

I tried my best to clear all the features and doubts, now the Choice is yours!
