Android Tab : Mercury mTab Launched in India @ Rs. 9,999

Few days back, we came across a cheap tablet from Beetel which is named as Beetel Magiq. The price of that tablet is Rs. 12,999. Whereas mercury has launched a new and cheap Android tablet i.e. Mercury mTab at the price-tag of Rs. 9,999.

However, Reliance has also kept their steps into the tablet market with their cheap tablet i.e. Reliance 3G tablet priced at Rs. 12,999.

All the above listed company’s tablets are their first tablet. You can have a look at the previous written tablets

Today we are talking about the recently launched debut tablet from Mercury. Mercury mTab comes with a 7-inches WVGA TFT LCD display which is offering the resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The processor of the tablet is of 1.2 GHz “Triple-core”, can you believe? It is the first device which I had heard of with “Triple-core” processor.

Mercury mTAB

512MB of RAM is integrated besides the powerful processor and it is packed with 4GB of Internal memory and you can expand the memory storage externally with the help of microSD card support upto 32GB. Your most loving OS is pre-installed in this device i.e. Android 2.3 Gingerbread with custom UI.

The weight of the tablet matters more than the features, because after all you need to carry it for fun and entertainment. Mercury mTab weighs 400gms.

You can use this tablet for video chatting as it is sported with 1.3MP camera. One of the biggest disadvantage of this tablet is, it have support for Wi-Fi connectivity but no 3G network support.

What is your opinion about this tablet? Are you going to purchase one? Do let us know.
