HTC Explorer Affordable Android Smartphone From HTC @ Rs. 11,625

A new innovation from HTC leaked few days back known as “HTC Explorer” aka Pico. Most of the rumors get converted into truth, same happened this time too. Recently HTC has unveiled HTC Explorer which is said to be one of the most affordable Android smartphones from HTC.

HTC Explorer will be launched in India first. The reason is the fastest growth-rate of Indian mobile phone market where people are looking for affordable but fully featured devices.

HTC Explorer is packed with almost all the powerful features like Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS integrated with HTC Sense 3.5 UI. The screen size of the phone is 3.2-inch of HVGA technology. At the backend, it is packed with 600MHz processor and 512MB of RAM.

It is sported with 3MP camera and offer decent quality of video recording. Other miscellaneous features of HTC Explorer are Bluetooth 3.0, 3G, Wi-Fi b/g/n, microUSB port.

The information about the internal memory of the phone is not known yet, but it is confirmed that you are allowed to increase the phone memory externally with the help of microSD card support.

For long battery backup and entertainment, Explorer is powered with 1230 mAh battery.

HTC Explorer is expected to be released in the Q4 of 2011 in various colors i.e. Metallic Black, Active Black and Metallic Navy. The expected price tag of the phone is about Rs. 11,650, which is quite affordable and magnetic.
