How To Install Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread On Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830

Android is doing a great job as far as attracting youngsters is concerned as its rolling out updates quickly which is being loved by the teenagers a lot. Android is the OS which is used for almost every smartphone produced this year. The largest user of Android is possibly the Samsung. Samsung launched a phone named as Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 in February this year.

The only drawback of the phone is that it is powered by Android but of older version, it’s having Android v2.2 (Froyo) which makes customers overlook its features and that’s something really disappointing. Now, in this tutorial I am going to show you how to update Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 to Android v2.3.4 firmware. The tutorial is really easy and works. The tutorial goes like this –

NOTE : Don’t connect your phone with your PC now, you need to connect it in Step 9.

Follow this tutorial only if your mobile name is same i.e. Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830.

Requirements : S5830XXKPH – Android 2.3.4  [Password is ekache99] and Samsung USB drivers – 32BIT and 64BIT

Tutorial

Step 1 – Download and install S5830XXKPH – Android 2.3.4 and then extract it.

Step 2 – Now switch your phone to downloadable phone.

Step 3 – Now, Download and run ODIN which is found in extracted folder above.

Step 4 – After running ODIN run Cooper_v1.0.ops and then select OPS.

Step 5 – Select the BOOT option now and then select the file whose name starts with APBOOT.

Step 6 – Click on PHONE and then select the file starting with Modem.

Step 7 – Now select PDA and the select the file named as CODE_S5830XXKPH_CL260130_REV03_user_low_true.tar.md5.

Step 8 – Click CSC and then select the file starting with CSC name.

Step 9 – Connect your phone with your PC and once ODIN detects it just click the Start button.

Now just wait. Once the process will be completed your phone will be rebooted and when it will start once again you shall see Android v2.3.4 on your device!

    Thank you for leaving the comment.

    You can change the language settings in the Language and Keyboard Settings of your Android settings menu.

    The first option which you will be getting is about changing the language only.
