Windows Phone 7.5 OS Phone – Nokia Lumia 800, 1.4GHz Processor, 3.7″ Display

Few days back, we talked about Nokia Lumia 710 which is the latest handset from Nokia in Windows Phone 7.5 OS smartphone series. Before talking about another Lumia series phone i.e. Nokia Lumia 800, I would like to throw some light on the recently caught facts about current quarter results of Sales & Market Share.

In accordance with the stats provided by : Samsung Ranked first beating Apple behind with a huge difference of market share. However, Nokia is still lacking behind and is on the same track as it was in the previous quarter.

Let’s talk about Nokia Lumia 800, Lumia 800 is a Windows Phone 7.5 OS based smartphone with seamless design and curved glass 3.7-inch touchscreen. The design of handsets matches with the latest Symbian OS smartphone devices just like Nokia X6.

The dimensions of Nokia Lumia 800 are 116.5 (H) x 61.2mm (W) x 12.1mm (T) and it weighs about 142g. The Lumia 800 was previously rumored as Searay over the internet.

Its 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen is built of AMOLED ClearBlack display technology with curved glass. It offers the resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. This time, Nokia sported 8MP auto-focus camera with Carl Zeiss optics.

The phone’s processing ability is powered by 1.4GHz processor and graphics co-processor. The on-board memory of the device is 16GB. Nokia collaborated with Microsoft and offering cloud storage space of 25GB i.e. SkyDrive.

All the connectivity features are present in the phone like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G, HSDPA and USB.

Availability and Price of Nokia Lumia 800

Nokia Lumia 800 is expected to be kept at the price tag of €420 or 490$ and it will be available from November in France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and UK with across 31 operators.

  1. It’s really strange, When you can get tablet for Rs. 3000… why can’t you get a smartphone for Rs. 3000? 😉 These phones are too costly. 😀

  2. Damn this WP 7.5 Interface is really awesome. I recently tried hands on HTC HD 2 and fall in love with the UI. If I ever go for Windows, Nokia will be the first priority.
