Android 3.0 also known as Honey Comb was released on 2010 to be used as a tablet OS and it has been specifically designed to meet the tablet demands. Honeycomb tablets are the latest tablets carrying the latest Android OS. We have compared some of the best honeycomb tablets that money can buy keeping in mind the performance, features, ergonomics and the value for money. Some of the best Honeycomb tablets are:

Samsung Galaxy Tab 750

Samsung Galaxy Tab 750 is the latest android tablet from Samsung and it is said to be the best in the world, even at par with the so-called King of Tablets, the Apple iPad 2. It has an extremely lightweight design and an ultra slim form factor. At 565 grams, it is as light as a cup of coffee and it is 8.6 mm thin ( yes that is thinner than the iPad) it feels great to use the Galaxy Tab 750.

It has a screen resolution of 1280 x 800 with a pixel density of 149 ppi (pixels per inch), which brings it closer to life-like display than ever before. It also supports 3G and WiFi so as to keep you connected everywhere.

It also enhances your gaming experience with a 1 GHz processor with dual – core, so you play as many HD games as you want without lag. It also has 720p HD video Playback at 30fps to make your movie viewing experience better than ever before.

Motorola Xoom

Motorola Xoom

The Motorola Xoom is a stylish device which bring to you a big 10 inch touch screen and a 1 GHz A8 cortex processor powering it. It also has a 32 GB of memory with 5 MP camera. It also has a 1.3 MP front facing camera to facilitate video calling. It supports 3G AND WiFi connectivity options along with Bluetooth. The Motorola Xoom is better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab in some terms’ , for example the screen size, but it is still a less preferable option.

Acer Iconia Tab A500

The Acer Iconia tab A500 also looks good and has good ergonomics. It has a large screen of 10.1 inches and a resolution of 1280 x 800. It has a 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra processor with dual core at its heart. It comes with a merely 5MP camera which did not perform well during many test’s. The camera also has a flash. The front facing camera is 2 mega pixels and was better than most other front facing cameras.

Acer Iconia Tab A500

It has 16 GB internal Hard Disk Drive space, though it is expandable upto 32 GB. It has a 3.5 mm audio jack and full HD video playback for beautiful movie experience. For the connectivity options it supports WiFi and Bluetooth. Surprisingly enough, it also has a HDMI port!

Though most of the Honeycomb tablets have the same specifications (this years’), the same 1 GHz, dual core, front facing camera, WiFi and Bluetooth, it makes it difficult to choose between any one of these tablets. The choice now lies in your interests, for example if you want a large touch screen to show off, you can go for Motorola Xoom. But if you otherwise want the best tablet, you must go for the Samsung Galaxy tab 750, with the TouchWiz UI, slimmer and lighter form factor and a more powerful specification.
