The Sony Ericsson released its first Xperia smartphone in 2008 and by this date it has released totally eighteen Smartphones with Xperia series. All Smartphones of Xperia runs with Android OS. Sony Ericsson was releasing the new Xperia smartphones by including a lot of updated features in it. Now there are a few Smartphones of the Xperia series which have released into the market and making a blow. Let us look into the features and specifications of the latest four Smartphones from the Xperia series.
Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S
This Smartphone from Xperia series was released two months before on September. This comes with LED-backlit LCD, capacitive touchscreen with 4.2 inches size display. This is powered with a 1.4 GHz Scorpion processor, Adreno 205 GPU, Qualcomm MSM8255T Snapdragon chipset having internal memory of 1 GB (320 MB user-available), 512 MB RAM. One drawback of this smartphone is it doesn’t have a secondary camera though it is high-end phone with high configuration. It runs with Android OS, v2.3.4 (Gingerbread) and upgradable to v4.0.
Sony Ericsson Xperia Active
Xpreia Active was released in the October which runs with an Android OS, v2.3 (Gingerbread) and can be upgraded to Android OS v4.0(Ice Cream Sandwich), it works with Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon 1 GHz processor and have an internal memory of 2GB, expandable to 32GB using a microSD slot assigned to it. This Smartphones can snap a high quality images with a primary camera of 5MP then coming to data connectivity features it works with 3G networks and but doesn’t have a secondary camera for video calling, it is a Wi-Fi enabled Smartphone.
Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro
Sony Ericsson releases all the Xperia series smartphones with QWERTY keypad naming them as Xperia pro. Coming to features and specifications of this phone it is a QWERTY keypad phone with LED-backlit LCD, capacitive touchscreen of 3.7inches display and powered with a Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon 1 GHz processor. This smartphone works on 3G networks and supports video calling with a secondary camera available for it and it has a primary camera of 8 MP. This runs with Android OS, v2.3 (Gingerbread) and can be upgraded to v4.0.
Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V
This smartphone has LED-backlit LCD, capacitive touchscreen with 3.7 inches display and runs on Android OS, v2.3.4 (Gingerbread). This phone process the tasks with the 1GHz Scorpion processor, Adreno 205 GPU, Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon chipset with an internal memory of 320 MB storage, 512 MB RAM. This has a primary camera of 5MP and secondary for video calling purposes. This can upgraded to the new release of Android OS, Ice Cream Sandwich(v4.0).
